Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}11/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 26th May, 1937. F.O. Hickling, Esq., Messrs. Ransome & Marles Bearing Co.,Ltd., NEWARK -on- TRENT. Dear Hickling, Many thanks for the particulars of ball bearings in British and American cars. We shall find this information most useful. As you were not in the Office when I rang up yesterday, I asked Mr. Kenyon to send me a couple of bearings for test, and also asked him to get you to ring me when you came back, to discuss the position of supplies both experimentally and for production of the special gear-box bearings. Yours sincerely, | ||
