You will see that in Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/MA30.9.32 he says it is essential to have oil in the petrol with a blower and he gives all the disadvantages thereof, which I fully appreciate. In fact any device which necessitated having the oil in the petrol would, I think, be hopeless from a sales point of view.

I understand that Bugatti's have overcome this difficulty by having a small oil tank in a convenient position with a valve interconnected with the accelerator pedal, the arrangement being that according to the amount of acceleration of the engine oil is admitted to the blower in the correct quantity.

This sounds very simple. Did we not know of it?
