Spicer Brothers Limited, are not to be responsible for non-delivery or delay in delivery of any goods directly or indirectly caused or occasioned by force majeure, war (whether this country is a belligerent or not) arrests, restraints and detainments, strikes, lock-outs (including strikes or lock-out at any mill at which the goods in the sale are being or would be manufactured), scarcity of material, or any other cause not immediately within their control. Goods not so delivered and goods so delayed may at the option of Spicer Brothers Limited, be delivered at any subsequent time or times and shall be accepted and paid for by buyer. If freights or costs of carriage are, or is, raised after date of contract, the increase shall be added to contract price and paid by the buyer. Spicer Brothers Limited, may, also at their option, determine the contract without liability in any of the following events (a) an import duty on the goods or any ingredient is imposed or increased (b) freights are raised owing to war or probable war or (c) a rise in the rate of insurance against war risk on any goods the subject of the contract. If default is made in any payment at due date, or if buyer commits any other breach of contract, Spicer Brothers Limited, shall not be bound to make any further deliveries and may treat contract as repudiated by buyer. They are also used for the mechanical protection and insulation of Ignition Wires. There is no better protection for the Conductors because of its high dielectric strength and its resistance to the action of oil, water, petrol and atmospheric conditions. Moreover it does not deteriorate like Rubber Tubing. We are the sole selling agents for one of the largest manufacturers of this tubing and therefore can quote you favourable prices for the best quality material.
