-2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}&/2.11.32. Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} We can obtain this by altering the levers as shown in the accompanying sketch. We think that the increase in servo diameter should be used not to increase the amount of servo braking but to reduce the unit pressure on the servo fabric which coupled with running it slower should make the amount of heat generated comparable with the 40/50 and 21/25 instead of being about 2 1/2 times as much. With this greatly increased direct braking we are afraid that the pedal may too easily reach the end of its travel viz. to spring in the linkage. We will report on this shortly and are carrying out tests to determine where the spring occurs with a view to minimising it. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
