Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} For Depot Sheet. 8401. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}7/MJ.9.4.30. Since all Depots are likely to have to change front springs we think it is essential that they should be in a position to measure the pivot lean of the front axle. To facilitate this operation, a flat has been arranged to extend from the spring seat, and we have made a simple instrument(sketch of which we attach) to record the axle pivot lean. We recommend that these instruments should be supplied to Depots with instructions as to how the pivot lean should be measured. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
