X4317 copy, EFC. E F C FEB 7 1922 RECEIVED. BY/Mtnl/P5221. Electro Ferrous Engineering Co.,Ltd., Paddock Works, Lower Caversham, READING. February 5/21. Saturday. Attention of Mr E.B. Saxby. Dear Sir., We have received the parts we recently sent you for depositing, and on examination of same they appeared quite satisfactory. We have, however, had the Pinion fitted into an engine, but after running a short time we found the deposit commenced to peel off in places. In view of this, we should like you to let us know the minimum amount of deposit you prefer to put on, as most of the parts we send you only require from one to four thous, and although we always stipulate that we require more, when the part is actually ground down to size there will never be more than between 1 to 4 thous of deposit. If you feel that the minimum amount of deposit should be 5 thous we can very easily grind the parts down for this before they leave our works. contd. | ||
