| 6017. To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst. BY/RD.3/B.9.6.37. IGNITION COIL WITH REVERSED PRIMARY CONNECTIONS. Instead of altering the top plate, as suggested, of the coils, we propose to reverse the direction of the primary winding, the finish of the primary and the start of the secondary being connected to the distribution terminal as at present. This makes a more economical change. Can you confirm that this new coil with revised method of connection can be used for replacement purposes. We understand that you are issuing standardisation sheets, so that we can proceed with this alteration also on the 25/30 HP. and Bentley Chassis. BY/RD. | ||
