PHANTOM III STANDARDISATION of PARTS Estimated cost of new tools ......... £18.0.0. Could be brought on to production at the 1st. chassis in "A" series (without scrap). Use Sleeve E.89030 sweated inside existing end caps E.84967/8 which will involve a tool cost of £9.0.0d. and an increase in factory cost of 1/- per chassis. This could be introduced without scrap as soon as tools are available, i.e. in about 6 weeks time, and is the scheme which ran 17,000 miles on 32-EX.
