Testing new India brand tyres on a Bentley, comparing their silence to standard tyres.

| To Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rn. {Mr Robinson} B1330 16.10.36. Re Bentley Tyres 6 x 17 IndiaProduction 20 HP. with 4-speed box and Front Wheel Brakes. We have tried the new IndiaProduction 20 HP. with 4-speed box and Front Wheel Brakes tyres for silence, and in the new condition they are excellent, this does not convey much however as the present standard are equally good when new. The standard IndiaProduction 20 HP. with 4-speed box and Front Wheel Brakes are very noisy in a half worn state, and we shall therefore continue to run the smaller tyre further mileage rechecking them as they wear.
