Oil Consumption - Phantom III.

We are anxious to get some information on the oil consumption of Ph.III's in service.

To get reliable figures it is necessary to drain the crankcase when the engine is warm initially, put in a measured quantity of oil, measure accurately all oil subsequently added, and on completion of the test again drain the crankcase when the engine is warm and measure the quantity of oil extracted. It would be useful if this information were available.

We have not had any further information on the oil consumption of the 25/30 HP. Trials Car.
