TO: Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} I beg to enclose you herewith letter from Mr. Halliwell, the father of Percy Halliwell who was drowned on Windermere. I have submitted this to Mr Dad and he is of the opinion (with which I entirely concur) that the Company has done exceedingly well in this matter and that we ought not to do any more. I do not think I told you that earlier on we received a request from Halliwell pere asking that the Company should pay for mourning clothes for himself and his wife and also wreaths, which we, of course, turned down very politely. n. | ||
