October 16th, 1933.

Attention: Mr. E.W. Hives.

Dear Sirs,

We duly received the 25 h.p. car from you this morning and have started work on the clutch control layout for this car. At the moment it appears that the cylinder will be mounted on a bracket from the chassis underneath the steering column, working on to a relay lever attached to the bell housing and then direct from there on to an extension of the present lever on the clutch cross-shaft. We hope to be able to install the unit system with the control valve and pendulum valve mounted on a bracket off the cylinder.

We note you expect to be able to take delivery of the car again at half-past-four to-morrow, and this we hope to be able to do.

We presume that if required, you will lend us detail drawings etc. of the components to enable us to make the correct fittings.

We also thank you for filling up the form we sent you and for the blue print showing the pedal details, which will be very useful to us. We should like to know if it is your desire we should send them up to you for fitting or if you wish to have the fitting carried out here.

Yours faithfully,
BENDIX LIMITED,

C.H.L. WYNNE,
Engineering Department.
