X.9680 To EFC. BY/RD1/ML.29.5.24. RE E.A.C. SILENT STARTER GEAR. Answering your note of the 28th inst., the following are the particulars of the coils we propose to instruct for a start. (1) Solenoid Unit - Same size as Teaser Winding in Motor Field i.e. .048 (18 S.W.G) D.C.C. 243 Turns, M.L.T. 3.83 inches. (2) "Hold off" Coil - One even gauge less than Item 3. i.e. .036 (20 S.W.G) D.C.C. 64 Turns, M.L.T. 2.92 inches. (3) Main Switch Coil - Similar to present 40/50 Main Switch, i.e. .048 (18 S.W.G) D.C.C. 138 Turns, M.L.T. 2.86 inches. • BY/RD1 | ||
