Messrs. Vandervell Products Ltd.,
Western Avenue,
Park Royal,
LONDON, W.3.

For the attention of Mr. Johnson.

Dear Sirs,

We are getting rather bad oil leaks into the clutch pit when using your main bearing crank thrust washers.

This we attribute to the grooves in the faces whereas our normal bearing has a plain thrust face with the result that the amount of oil leaking across is limited.

In view of the above therefore, we should be obliged if you could send us as soon as possible 4 pairs of thrust washers having no grooves but just plain Babbit.faces.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
