(struck through) ROY{Sir Henry Royce} (struck through) ROY{Sir Henry Royce}/Ms. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY9/G.6.6.23. 20 HP. CHASSIS - RADIATOR, BONNET AND DASH. ------------------------------------------ Will you kindly note that I have been today informed that the Geoffrey Smith type of radiator, bonnet and dash are to be put on standard at the second half of 'N' series. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Dept. should note that the angle at the top of the radiator must be made to conform to the new angle of the bonnet. The angles of the sides are not important, and can be left as they are, as this would mean modifying the pattern. Will the D.O. kindly issue instructions on this matter to the Order Office as quickly as possible releasing the various parts. Will Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} please issue a standardisation sheet covering this. The information required will be :- Radiator ... 1.500" higher Dash ... .750" higher Width of Dash .. 2" wider than present standard. The inclination of the top of the radiator will be made to conform to the new top line of the bonnet. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
