For the attention of Mr.Saunders.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of June 6th, together with the information contained therein.

We are about to carry out a road test on the three matrices which you have compared in your tests, and shall be pleased to let you have the results as soon as they are available.

There is one point with the figures you have given us of which we are not quite clear, that is the meaning of the letters C.F.M. against the first series of figures.

We take it that the B.T.U's per min. are given for velocities which would correspond with the speed of the car through the air, and not the speed of the air through the radiator, i.e. the air flow drops considerably with the A.C.V.Vee-5 pump matrix, and presume that at a road speed of 40 m.p.h. this radiator will dissipate 2950 B.T.Uss per min, against 2330 for the A.C. zig-zag 3-1/4 type.

We are much indebted to you for the information supplied.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS ROYCE LTD.
