RE BATTERY FOR CAR & OFFICE LIGHTING AT WEST WITTERINGHenry Royce's home town.

With reference to lamps for West WitteringHenry Royce's home town Drawing Office, we ought to get these direct from Edison Swan or other makers. We asked for 1/2 watt lamps, if these would stand, say, 500 hours. We want two powers, say, about 10 and 20 c.p., they must be suitable for the small holders, and for the 12 volt circuit.

Please order about -

20 of 20 c.p. (24 c.p. would do)
10 of 10 c.p. ( 8 c.p. would do)

You are now getting for us, the house switches (12) the fuses for ditto., the 20 amp central zero Weston ammeter for switch board, the dynamo switches and fuse (2 off each)

X.949. I have written to the Tudor Company as enclosed.

You will probably need two sizes of batteries. The one they are making will do to go on with. So many will be spoiled by neglect that one thinks it better to use the smallest size and replace when done for, also to fit a larger one where this is found too small.
