ITEM. (7) DESIGN POSITION.

KESTREL ENGINE.

Adaption of Hobson automatic boost control. In hand.
Modification to holding down clamps - six stud cylinder block. Completed.
Two speed supercharger - alternative roller clutch. Completed.
Modified cylinder block - clamped liner - for 14 mm. sparking plugs. Completed.
Modified throttle stops and slow running adjusters to prevent petrol leaks - pressure carburetter. Completed.
Fixed pitch airscrew hub for testing V.P. blades. In hand.
Testing rig for Bexite oil seal for V.P. airscrew. Completed.

MERLIN "C" I. ENGINE.

Supercharger drive - modified fixing for rear layshaft bushes. In hand.
Hub for wooden airscrew. Completed.
Modified dual petrol pump. In hand.
Mod. to gearbox - electric starter. Completed.
Crankcase modifications - larger oil drain holes through front walls, etc. Completed.
