Copy of letter received from:- Automotive Spares Limited, 164A, Kings Road & Jubilee Place, Chelsea, London. S.W.3. AB/AG. 31st December, 1929. Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd., Derby. Dear Sirs, Any metal to metal joint can be made petrol tight, oil tight and heat proof in a few minutes by using Bailey's Holdfast Liquid Jointing. Holdfast is absolutely impervious to petrol, oil and water - The Daimler Coy., Bentley Motors Ltd., Tilling Stevens Ltd, and many other large manufacturers of internal combustion engines use it exclusively. It will withstand the highest temperatures and pressures of superheated steam - the enclosed report by the National Physical Laboratory proves it. Joints made by Holdfast can be easily broken and remade when necessary - here again a great saving in time can be effected. In fact there are very few joints which cannot be made more quickly and cheaply by using Holdfast. It may take half an hour to cut a fibre or paper ring for a joint which could be made with Holdfast in half a minute. To enable you to test it we are sending you a small sample and we shall be pleased to supply you at list prices less a discount of 40%. We look forward to having the pleasure of hearing from you. Yours faithfully, AUTOMOTIVE SPARES LTD. (Sgd) A.{Mr Adams} Bailey. Sales Dept. ENCLOSURE No 648 'JUSTSO' | ||
