-3- In these tests only one damper was used in conjunction with a 12 ft. 1/4" diameter pipe line, with compressor oil in both governor and damper. It is therefore probable that with four dampers in action, the time taken to regain normal pressure would be considerably increased. The figures given represent the limit of the conditions, it is possible to improve upon the bellows, and it is doubtful if any road conditions would produce such pressure variations.
