India Tyre & Rubber Co.,Ltd.,
Inchinnan,
SCOTLAND.

For the attention of P. Worth, Esq.

Dear Sirs,

We have recently ordered from you two sets of 6 1/2 x 17 tyres for test on Experimental Bentley chassis. We are wondering now whether you could supply us with a further set with the shoulders radiused in the same manner as the 6" tyres you supplied in September 1936. If you can do this without making a new mould, and merely by a machining operation, we should like to try them out.

We are testing these tyres on 4" rims at pressures of 25 lbs at the front and 28 at the rear. The results on road holding seem so far to be satisfactory. Perhaps you will let us know whether you agree with such pressures.

We are asking our O.O. to send you an order for six covers and tubes.

With regard to our last order for 5 6.50 x 17 covers and tubes to our Order No.38982, if these have not already been despatched, we should be glad if you would send them direct to:-

I.M. Waller,
Hotel de France,
Chateauroux,
Indre, France.

If, on the other hand, they have already been sent to Derby, we will despatch them to France.

Yours faithfully,

For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
