Dear Sir,

for the attention of Mr. Hives.

Further to my recent visit when I discussed with you the side members retaining and separate fittings, and have checked over, and the last Octobers which I have found to be correct. I have sent these together with the back dated Octobers for front-joint and believe it to be possible that you can fit these,

I shall be glad if you will let us have one of your sets as they are defective in actual service.

This is in order to enable us to get a more complete test.

If you will send the fittings for these to us at once we can give you a pretty quick decision.

Also if there is any other one that you would like us to check we shall be very glad to do this.

Yours truly,
