To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}7/E20738 - 2 - point I should like to know how much, bearing in mind the increase in wind resistance which will presumably be caused thereby and the narrow margin which apparently exists over 100 m.p.h. In your Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/R22.2.38, which is on the same subject, you give on Page 3 the effect of the Paulin Bentley as compared with wind tunnel tests but, as the actual results differ considerably from the wind tunnel tests, you will doubtless wish to revise the data given on that page. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} PS. We have found it very difficult to keep our filing straight on this job because the car has been called by three different names. It started with Van Vooren, then it became Embiricos and later Paulin. I think we ought to adhere to one term for it and should be interested to know what the name 'Paulin' is. I believe it is a coachbuilder. | ||
