Report attributing excessive servo wear to a lack of cooling facilities causing brake linings to roast.

| contd:- -2- From these figures it is apparent that were the servo operating under the same conditions as the rear brakes, it should wear no more rapidly. Our tests on the brake rig have shewn, however, that once the lining has been thoroughly roasted it will wear away much more rapidly than it would with unburnt Ferodo.
