Gentlemen,
For the attention of Mr. R.M. Child - Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}13/MR.
We thank you for your letter of July 20th and have noted your desire to test some "Corundite" plugs with the insulators mounted in a similar manner to that used in the RC.{R. Childs}39 aero plugs.
It is our intention to make up plugs of this type in the near future, but you will appreciate that they will of necessity be very much more expensive than the plugs which you are now using and we doubt whether they will ever be a practical proposition for standardisation purposes.
As you are probably aware, our development section is very fully occupied at the moment with the production of aero "Corundite" plugs and we would ask you to allow us to leave this matter in abeyance until after the holiday period.
We are very glad to learn that the FLB.50x is running well up to the present and we shall be very interested to have your further reports.
Yours faithfully,
p.p. K.L.G. SPARKING PLUGS LIMITED.
Director.
