To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} c. By/CS. c. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} j 654. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}1/MH.{M. Huckerby}6.4.38. WRAITH SPRING DRIVE DAMPER POUNDAGE. Will you please cancel our previous memo on the above Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}4/MH.{M. Huckerby}31.3.38. The poundage mentioned 10 - 12 at 17½" rad. does on some cars make the half torsional period obvious, therefore we should like you to instruct [REDACTED] that the setting be 13 - 15 lbs. at 17½" rad., this can be obtained with the existing springs EW.1347. Therefore other than instruction that the poundage be 13 - 15 at 17½" rad. no other alteration is necessary. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} | ||
