RE BATTERIES. X4617B X4617P

With reference to the two Peto & Radford cells recently received in error, will you kindly have these forwarded for use in this Dept.

Regarding the special 6RR5 Exide battery referred to in the letter ref. AES/NS{Norman Scott} of the 24th inst. from The Chloride Elec.Storage Co., copy of which was sent to us under cover of Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/AW2/W25.6.25, we yesterday received the 6RR5 battery. Though we assume this must be the battery in question, there is nothing to indicate that this is any different from standard, and we cannot ourselves tell by inspection as the experimental feature is merely in the plate grids.

We should be glad if you will confirm, as a safeguard against unnecessary experimental work, that the battery received yesterday is the battery in question.

EFC.
