Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1/a.{Mr Adams} 11th January, 1944. Dear Thank you for your letter of January 7th. I am sorry that you do not like my suggestions for making the Turbo Transmitter more palatable to the ordinary customer, but am not surprised. I obviously agree that the first thing is to get the unit in its present state tested on one of our machines. I will send you the information you asked for previously, so that you can complete the drawings for the lash-up, to enable the test to be made. I will talk to Grylls about your objections to running the transmitter in a standard Snipe. If your reverse gear has functioned satisfactorily in practice, I think it would be presumption on my part to criticise it. Yours sincerely, Captain J.S.H. Moore, Turbo Transmitters Limited, 48a, Cambridge Road, SOUTHPORT. Lancashire. | ||
