10th. February, 1932.

Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. West.

Confirming Mr. West's visit here today when he witnessed a test on the proposed new battery for the 40/50 H.P. car, our type 3-BDHL11-A, we understand that you will shortly be sending us an order for two batteries of this type to be put on one of your test cars.

We confirm having given Mr. West a copy of the test which was carried out at a discharge rate of 185 amperes, and we shall be glad to know as soon as possible whether you are satisfied with the results.

We are proceeding forthwith with an assembly drawing of this battery, which will be sent you as soon as completed.

We are also going into the question of the standardised battery for the 20/25 H.P. car, and will have a sample battery built up shortly which will be put on test: we shall then be able to furnish you with any figures that you desire.

We also confirm having given Mr. West detailed dimensions of these two new batteries.

Yours faithfully,
PETO & RADFORD.
