ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} c. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} 85010 BY.2/G.19.8.31. 20/25 HP. CHASSIS - EXPERIMENTAL CRANKSHAFTS. Referring to ROY.{Sir Henry Royce}13/MG.18.8.31. it appears practically certain that we shall have to order a further batch of 20/25 HP. material. Further, enough work has been done with partially balanced cranks to know that we obtain a definite gain. On the other hand, the 20/25 HP. unbalanced crank with larger crankpin has definitely given trouble. In view, therefore, of all the facts, it would appear that we must spend the £150. to alter the dies. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} BM | ||
