re. CAR HOISTS AT CLAN FOUNDRY

With reference to your Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}8/MH.{M. Huckerby}16.2.40.

We have three hoists belonging to the Department in storage at Belper, and we quite agree that it would be far better for these hoists to be in service, rather than in storage.

At the same time it must be remembered that the motors on these hoists are wound for a 400 volt supply.
