FRONT WING STAYS - 14-G-4.

Thank you for your HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/LG3129.

We note that all the front wing stays have broken on 14-G-4. These were standard 20HP. stays, and the lamps were no heavier than those we have previously fitted on some 10,000 mile cars. We would like any further information which would help us to realise the cause of this failure, but we suggest that due to the excessive twisting of the front of the car peculiar to 14-G-4. these pieces have been abnormally fatigued. There is a possibility of their holding up when we have cured this phenomenon.
