Copy of letter received from:- Messrs.C.A.Vandervell & Co.Ltd., Acton, LONDON. W.3. ROY{Sir Henry Royce}/GEA1/EB12118. HGM/AES. 21st November 1928. Messrs.Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sirs, With reference to your enquiry for Graves Anti-Dazzle Bulbs which has been passed to us by the Safety Anti-Dazzle Bulb Syndicate, in view of your remarks that these should be suitable for the Lucas P.100 Headlamps, we have gone very carefully into this matter, and we are afraid that with the Graves Bulbs available at the moment, you would not obtain very satisfactory results from these high power projectors which we find are of a different design to the usual motor car headlamps. The Graves Bulbs we have to offer are 12-volt 36-watt, and we are going further into this matter to see how we can obtain results comparable with the standard lamp now normally supplied with a 60 watt bulb. Yours faithfully, For C.A.Vandervell & Co.Ltd., (Sgd) H.G.Mason. | ||
