X9940 We have made a further test on the road with the chassis fitted with front wheel brakes. We found that if we ran the car backwards and applied the brakes, they were ineffective but there were no signs of jaggers. In the forward movement, we still obtain the brake jaggers. By watching the car when the brakes are applied we can observe violent torsional effects on the front springs and axle in the forward direction and very little backwards.
