[Typed] CENTRALISED CHASSIS LUBRICATION.

Chassis fitted with the 3-point central lubrication scheme will of course be supplied with an Enots oil gun, but the Experimental Department specify that this should be the type without the intensifier because of the possibility of damage being done to the drip plugs on account of the super high pressure.

We understand that the Experimental Department are in touch with Messrs. Benton & Stone with a view to obtaining a special gun which will not exceed a pressure of 100 lbs., but since this is not yet available we should supply [Handwritten 'with' inserted above a struck-through word] each 20 HP. chassis from the 51st in 'O' series and each 40/50 HP. chassis from the 1st in J.2 series with the standard Enots gun without the intensifier, therefore will you please arrange accordingly.

If we have already received deliveries of oil guns with the intensifier for the above series of chassis, no doubt arrangements can be made to have them exchanged.
