S/W 664 To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re WMB-11 Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}9/E17739 Referring to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/MH.{M. Huckerby}11.7.39 confirming conversation this morning, I tried the Discol experiment and the noise disappeared entirely. This evidently means that it was detonation. As arranged on the telephone I am sending Kennett with the car to Derby to-day and should be glad if you would see that I am notified not later than Thursday as to when I can have it back.
