PHANTOM III.
MODIFIED REAR ENGINE MOUNTING.

Please receive herewith G.CD.27. showing a modified form of Rear Engine Mounting, designed to function similar to the temporary scheme built up by the Experimental Department, which has been found to be an improvement over the present standard suspension.

The durometer hardness of the rubber blocks will have to be determined by experiment.

The position of the bolt holes in cross, for the engine supporting member is moved from the present standard position for these holes.

The triangular front end plate for engine stay tube to gearbox has had to be lengthened to clear the new engine support member, and this of course shortens they stay tube.

Will you please detail and instruct the necessary parts to be made experimentally as soon as possible.
