Dear Sirs,
We have your letter of the 10th instant, with which you enclosed a blueprint S.C.D.1042 showing a proposed drive for a car heater, from a small electric motor to a separately mounted fan, and we note that you are considering the practicability of vulcanising rubber sleeve to the adaptor pieces shown on the drawing.
In reply we are pleased to inform you that we are able to comply with your request in this direction if you will supply the adaptor pieces in brass metal containing at least 65% of Copper.
Immediately we receive the adaptor pieces from you we can assure you that we shall lose no time in completing the bonding of the rubber to them and returning them to you for experiment.
Yours faithfully,
FOR THE COMPANY,
R.{Sir Henry Royce} Follup
