We are expecting to bring 33-EX and 34-EX to London on Thursday next, and will be at Conduit Street about 11.30 a.m. 33-EX demonstrates the best we can do at present in the matter of tyre noise, adding rubber shackles and rubber body mountings. In addition, since your criticism of general engine noise, we have improved the sound insulation, and we consider that the power unit on this car is now a great deal better than the car that was criticised. 34-EX represents the rubber body mounting only, and we wish to crystallise our opinion on these two cars under the conditions of road surface in London which accentuate tyre groans. We are proposing to leave 33-EX in London until after the week end. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
