X4117 ? H4/TB/2.7.25. S/W. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} copy to Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} Re:- Chassis 41-TM. - Col. C. Gerard. Following on our telephone conversation of this after noon, I communicated to CJ. that you had tried every sort of position on the induction pipe for the autovac connection, and that it made little or no difference to the misfiring for which this connection is responsible. I further informed him that you had actually a car on the road at the present time experiment ing with some other arrangement, and that you might be in a posi tion, as a result of this experiment, to make a suggestion to N. as to what they should do to overcome the trouble when the car goes to them on Monday. If you have no success with the present experiments, will you please advise us, because it may become necessary, owing to the attitude taken up by Col. Gerard, to re-convert the chassis to a pressure system, for which no doubt it would be necessary for N. to get all the necessary material from W. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} | ||
