PEREGRINE BEARING LUBRICATION.

In connection with the overheating of Peregrine oil E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} wishes to try a Peregrine unit with some method of main bearing lubrication as on the standard 20/25. This arrangement consists of one hole in every journal, a feed to every bearing, a complete circular groove in bearings 1, 4, and 7, and no groove in the intermediate. We should like to try this on unit No.7. which we are shortly sending into the shop for a change of camshaft.
