Dear Sirs,
With further reference to your letter of the 2nd November, while enquiries have not resulted in information in the form desired by you, I trust that the following particulars will be of useful interest.
The number of makes of cars using belt drive for the water pump compared with the number of makes on which positive drive is used is in the ratio of 11 : 4.
The number of cars using belt drive for the dynamo compared with the number of cars using positive drive is in the ratio of 9 : 2.
