KESTREL PROTOTYPE TEST FOR TANK.

We should like indications as to the most severe conditions under which a Kestrel type test has ever been run and also the maximum number of hours that a unit has been in the experimental test, as far as we can ascertain, between overhauls.

We should also like a sample of the Pool petrol on which the test was run, which we should send to the Ethyl Corporation and get an octane value for.

Obviously, we must ensure that any fuel on which we run endurance tests corresponds with the stuff the engine will use in service.
