Visit of Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} to U.S.A.

Referring to the results of Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}'s visit to the States, I think the tremendous amount of information he has gathered touching on all sections of our productions offers much food for thought and his final report revives a number of suggestions as well as offering new ones meriting the most serious consideration.

We want to make the fullest use of Hu's work and to do this we are first issuing some notes showing what action we propose should be taken as regards Design to form the basis of discussion and to arrive at a general agreement on the points involved.

We attach herewith a memo on the first section, e.g. Riding Comfort.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
