making new engraved masks or dials for them, and altering the shimming.accordingly.

As before stated, we should much appreciate your kind assistance in getting these gauges returned to us, or informing us of the department concerned, when we would write to them officially, and ask for the return of the gauges for alteration.

The calibration of the actual tank by us, in conjunction with this new shimming arrangement, is highly important, and we await your news as to the possibility of our having a sample tank for the purpose of this calibration, so that we may finally finish off the job to our mutual satisfaction.

If necessary we could arrange for the tank to be returned to you by road, and we should only want it in these works for one complete day.

Assuring you at all times of our best attention,

We remain, dear Sirs,

Yours faithfully,

H.M.HOBSON,Ltd.,
T.P.Searight
Joint Managing Director.
