Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. C.S. Steadman

Re: Car Heater and De-Mister

We desire to offer you our apologies for the delay which has occurred in delivering the sample Heater as promised. This is now ready and is being forwarded on to you tomorrow marked for your attention.

Would you please note that the Electric Motor operates on 6 volts and we trust that you will not mind coupling for 6 volts only on the battery.

General fitting instructions are contained in the carton, but as your car has a Thermostat fitted it should be taken into consideration. We advise connecting the water pipes as per our print EX.X.10294 herewith. The single water control cock when shut down ensures that the water bypassed from the Thermostat will pass through the Heater.

As soon as you have had an opportunity of forming an opinion on the efficiency and usefulness of this equipment we shall be pleased to have an opportunity of discussing matters more fully.

The equipment is being invoiced to you on loan account in order to keep our books in order.

Yours faithfully,
p.p. S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED.
