STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS.

Description of Parts. Reversion to double ended jaw spanners for car tool kits.

Origin. To reduce cost, weight and bulk of tool kit.

Experimental Test Report.
We find that owners of RR cars find that the double ended spanner is handier. Reduction in the space allocated by coachbuilders for tools makes it difficult to find space for single ended spanners. Reduction in cost and weight without decrease in efficiency is to be recommended throughout the car.

Weight of Old Part.
Cost of Old Part. £0-9-5
Weight of New Part.
Cost of New Part. £0-5-8
Difference per Car.
Difference per Car. £0-3-9 Decrease
