Contd. -2- EFClO/T7.11.27. all conditions of our specification. (2) Reduction of force to operate advance and retard lever and elimination of the alternating impulses which affect the controls. Consequently better response to the oil relay advance mechanism and less wear on same. (3) Less noisiness generally, mainly through the absence of the sleeves. In view, however, of the last paragraph of your R2/M12.9.27, we are circulating a standardisation sheet for these machines, as to the best of our judgement it appears quite certain that they are better than the present standard. A machine of this type has not yet run 10,000 miles, but No.99171 with a somewhat noisy contact breaker has run 3,000 miles. EFC. | ||
