RR 238 (150 BKS.) (DB {Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 461-8-12-24) MP 306975 X46175 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: E.F.B. Order No.: JC53 Customer's No.: X46175 Re-Tests on S4 Battery (15V) This battery has now completed 21,995 miles on the road 16,085 of which has been run in France satisfactorily. Its general appearance is good, but for one thing the sealing compound is cracked round the terminal posts of the P&R cells, but they still seem to be firm. There was slight corrosion on the terminals & links. This would be caused by acid splash from the cracks above referred to. On low rate discharge through an unvariable external resistance of 1.80w 54.6 ampere hours were obtained. Positive Signed: (Cont-d {John DeLooze - Company Secretary} /) This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
