Dear R.M.,

Thank you for your letter of the 23rd instant. I have now got my appointment fixed with the Purchasing Department for Monday, the 11th. I propose to come up to Derby on the Sunday evening and to come to the Works the first thing on Monday morning and I think I had better come and see you first and hand over the car and get rid of that, when I shall be free to deal with the other matters. Unless I hear to the contrary therefore, I will call on you on Monday morning, the 11th.

Yours sincerely,
G.R.N. Minchin
